Endoscopic surgeries use a scope going through small incisions or natural body openings in order to diagnose and treat disease. Also known as minimally invasive surgery (MIS), they perform diagnoses and treatments that can be done with reduced body cavity invasion.
Endoscopic Surgeries We Perform
Cystoscopy is a procedure that enables Dr. Huffer and his team to view inside the bladder and urethra to better identify bladder tumors.
Ureteroscopy is a procedure that enables Dr. Huffer to diagnose and treat a variety of problems in the urinary tract. During the procedure, Dr. Huffer and his team insert a small scope into the bladder and ureteral, allowing us to actually look into the ureter to find and remove ureteral stones. This is an outpatient procedure that enables Dr. Huffer to remove virtually any stone of the appropriate size.
